After years of technical difficulties, the trailer for the Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody has emerged online. The film revolves around singer Freddie Mercury, guitarist Brian May, drummer Roger Taylor, and bass guitarist John Deacon who take the world by storm when they form the rock 'n' roll band in 1970. Queen faces a great challenge when Mercury's increasingly wild lifestyle starts to spiral out of control.
The film stars Rami Malek as Freddie Mercury. Although the trailer is just under two minutes, it still manages to feature several Queen hits such as Another One Bites The Dust, We Will Rock You, and of course, the title track. Bopping around as the energetic frontman, Malek looks fantastic as Mercury. We also get a glimpse of Mike Myers as a record producer who warns Mercury that Bohemian Rhapsody is too long. Malek, who rose to fame with the breakout success of Mr Robot, was cast last July. Bohemian Rhapsody hits theatres on November 2, and as the trailer suggests, the only thing more extraordinary than Queen's music is indeed the story of Freddie Mercury!
