Pathshala South Asian Media Institute, one of the most influential institutions in South Asia, announced their affiliation with University of Dhaka on February 15, 2018. This affiliation will allow the introduction of two new programmes- B.S.S. in Photography and Post Graduate Diploma in Film and Television. This affiliation is meant to provide students with a productive platform to show their talent and creativity.
Under the honours program, there will be a total of eight semesters lasting six months each and a total of 31 courses will be offered, which will have 128 credit hours. Students who have passed H.S.C. or equivalent in the 2015-16 or 2016-17 sessions are eligible to apply for the program. The institution will be calling for admission from the month of April 2018 for the July-December 2018 session with a batch of 25 students. For the post graduate Diploma on Film and Photography, there will be three semesters lasting six months. It includes a total of 10 courses of 30 credit hours. Admission for July session will start from April 2018.
