End of match

Tigers notched up the required total of 171 runs with 21.3 overs to spare to win their opening match of the tri-nation tournament. Bangladesh clinched an eight-wicket victory after Tamim Iqbal struck a 93-ball 84, an innings that contained eight fours and a six. Mushfiqur Rahim remained unbeaten on 14 at the other end.

Blessing Muzarabani gave three no balls on the trot in the 28th over as Tigers inched closer to victory. There were two direct hits as Tamim looked for quick doubles and singles. The left-hander survived both times.

End of over 25, Ban 143/2

Tamim Iqbal reached 50 off 66 balls as Bangladesh required 53 runs for victory. Mushfiqur Rahim is at the crease after Shakib's departure.

Since Tamim's 50 both batsmen have looked to trade in boundaries. Mushfiqur opened his scoring by hitting Raza for six in the 24th over while Tamim went after Cremer in the next over as hit a four and a six to take his score to 69 off 77 balls.

End of over 20, Ban 108/2

Sikandar Raza bagged his second wicket as he trapped Shakib Al Hasan in front for a leg-before dismissal. The umpire had given a not out to the initial appeal but Zimbabwe were confident enough to review the decision as Shakib was given out.

There was a huge shout for caught behind against Tamim Iqbal off Cremer's delivery. The umpire gave out but after reviewing the decision was overturned. Tamim proceeded to glide Cremer for four through third man.

Bangladesh reached 100 for the loss of one wicket as Shakib Al Hasan and Tamim Iqbal have steadied the chase with a 84-ball 72 run partnership.

End of over 15, Ban 83/1

Shakib Al Hasan, who joined Tamim at the crease after Anamul's departure, started quietly but in the 11th over he went after Muzarabani, hitting him for three boundaries on the trot.

A Muzarabani delivery gained up on Shakib and hit him high on the bat. The ball looped towards man at point but fell short. Shakib proceeded to drive the bowler through mid-off in the same over for four, showing no intention of letting Zimbabwe off the hook.

End of over 10, Ban 55/1

Tamim Iqbal at the other end is picking up the singles well as he reacherd 22 off 32 balls.

End of over 5, Ban 31/1

Anamul got carried away with his stroke making and fell to Raza in the last delivery of the fourth over as Bangladesh lost their first wicket. Anamul, started the game as Imrul Kayes was not fit enough to play today's match.

Bangladesh had started in stylish fashion as openers Tamim Iqbal and Anamul played some lovely shots within the first few overs. Anamul hit Jarvis for a four through mid-on before hitting Chatara over square leg for a boundary in the next over.

End of Zimbabwe innings, Zim 170 all out

Mustafizur Rahman, the 'cutter master', strikes again as batsman Blessing Muzarabani completely missed the line of the cutter. Ball clips the off stump as Zimbabwe finish on 170 all-out from 48.6 overs.

Rubel Hossain is the hero of the death overs. He came on to bowl in the 48th over and bowled Moor with a tremendous yorker. Moor was looking dangerous on 33 but he could not cope with the Rubel's fiery yorker. Next ball, Tendai Chatara dragged Rubel's delivery onto his stumps as the bowler was in for a hattrick. Rubel dissapointed the crowd with his hattrick ball as his delivery outside the off stump was left well alone by Muzarabani.

Rubel Hossain takes a fantastic catch in the deep, diving forward to take a low catch to remove Graeme Cremer off the bowling of Shakib Al Hasan. Shakib picks up his third wicket in this match, having already struck twice in his very first over.

End of over 45, Zim 160/6

Peter Moor has managed to pick up a few boundaries as Zimbabwe managed to reach the 150-run mark. Moor hit a long hop from Shakib in the 44th over as Zimbabwe are looking to reach a competetive score having already lost six wickets.

End of over 40, Zim 134/6

Bangladesh manage to get the all-important wicket of Sikandar Raza as Zimbabwe lost their sixth wicket.

It has been a lively performance from the Tigers this morning and an excellent throw found Raza short of his crease.

Raza reached his half century in style as he danced down the wicket to Nasir Hossain and lifted him over cover for four.

Bangladesh had managed to dry up the boundaries as Zimbabwe looked to consolidate. That changed when Mashrafe came back into the attack in the 37th over. The skipper conceeded just 13 runs in his first six overs but strayed down the leg side and the ball missed everything and went for bye four on the third delivery.

End of over 35, Zim 115/5

Nasir Hossain came on to bowl his first over and in his fourth delivery, he managed to hit right-handed batsman Peter Moor on the pads. Bangladesh went up in a loud appeal but they were turned down as ball was hitting outside the line.

Raza, who is unbeaten on a 78-ball 42, reached his highest score against Bangladesh and has managed to pick up the necessary singles while also hitting two sixes and a four in his innings.

End of over 30, Zim 101/5

Malcolm Waller left as Sunzamul Islam made amends for the catch he dropped in the very same over as Shakib took a fine catch at slip cordon. Zimbabwe lost their fifth wicket with the score at 81 in the 26th over.

Since then Zimbabwe have looked to recover as Sikandar Raza has managed to survive the onslaught from Tigers' bowlers.

End of over 25, Zim 80/4

Rubel Hossain managed to get the edge of the slashing blade of Malcolm waller but Nasir Hossain dropped the catch at slip. There were a few boundaries as Zim looked to recover from the early slump.

End of over 20, Zim 55/4

Mustafizur Rahman strikes as he managed to get Brendon Taylor to hang his bat away from the body who only manages to edge it through to the wicket-keeper.

It has been a fantastic spell from Mustafizur as the ball has zipped around quite a bit. He has managed to square the right-handed batsmen up with his outswingers quite frequently. The cutters are working effectively as well in what looks like a promising start to the series for the left-armer from Satkhira. He has bowled five over and conceeded 13 runs.

End of over 15, Zim 48/3

Masharafe struck in the eighth over to remove Hamilton Masakadza for 15 as he was caught by Mushfique Rahim. Bangladesh started the match with the spin duo of Shakib Al Hasan and Sunzamul Islam. It paid dividends really early on as Shakib struck twice in the very first over.
