A picture of Chilean footballer Alexis Sanchez sporting Manchester United's iconic number seven jersey has gone viral on social media.
The snap, taken by an alert Manchester United fan, supposedly shows the former Arsenal forward posing in front of a mobile phone, perhaps as part of his unveiling video which is expected to be released later today.
It was confirmed that Sanchez had passed his medical at Manchester United's training facility, Carrington, earlier today.
The Chilean is the second big-name Arsenal player to join the Red Devils after Robin van Persie made the controversial switch in 2012. He will reportedly be paid wages of 400,000 pounds.
That salary was facilitated by the fact that United will not be spending a single penny to lure away one of the best players in the English league from their purported rivals. The deal is instead a straight swap, which sees out-of-favour Henrik Mkhitaryan going the other way.
